This includes problem-solving abilities, mathematical skills, self-expression, imagination, gross and fine motor development, social and emotional development, and more! Children learn to build friendships, increase attention span, and bring their ideas to life. New items are added periodically to increase interest and to enhance learning that is occurring in other areas of the classroom.

Writing stations
Ample writing opportunities are vital for the development of pre-writing and drawing skills. Children use a wide range of handwriting to represent words, stories, ideas, experiences or objects. Beginning formation starts as random marks and ends as letters or words with pictures in the preschool classroom. Writing opportunities are incorporated throughout the classroom, during small and large group, and during outdoor play.
